Here is one picture of Russian souvenir, a music box. Inside the music box there is a musical winding mechanism, after some winds of the spring you can hear a tune of Russian song “Podmoskovnye Vechera” (Moscow Nights) or other famous melodies, for example, from the ballet of Tchaikovsky “Swan Lake”. These musical boxes are entirely hand-crafted from wood, then hand-painted in authentic Palekh or Ghzel styles (Old Russian art schools), then finished with glossy oil lacquer.
